Governor Sergio Ziliotto and Mayor Pascual Fernández led the opening of envelopes with offers to build a SUM in Uriburu, where almost $358 million will be invested at April values. In addition, they inaugurated the fiber optic work. "We arrived here today as we do to all the towns in the province, who governs who governs, because what worries us and occupies us is that there are pampas and pampeans who need policies of inclusion and equal opportunities," said Ziliotto.
Along with the governor and the mayor were the Minister of Works and Public Services, Julio Rojo; the Secretary of Municipal Affairs, Rogelio Schanton; the president of Empatel, Andrés Zulueta; the national deputy, Hernán Pérez Araujo, other officials, officials, bidders and residents of the town.
The Pampas president considered that the new SUM will be "a space in accordance with the quality of life for which the Justicialist governments have worked for a long time in the province of La Pampa."
He expressed his joy at being able to visit the different towns in the province because "one recharges energy, feeds on more pampas and sees, personally, the needs and requirements that exist in every corner of La Pampa."
Ziliotto recalled that the same day that he was in the afternoon-evening hours on the anniversary of Uriburu in December 2019, in the morning "I had met in Winifreda with all the mayors of La Pampa, ratifying the commitment and the way of working that the PJ governments launched in the 2003-2007 administration when I had to accompany ex-governor Verna as minister”.
DECENTRALIZATION
Zilitto emphasized that "we are implementing a State policy that is decentralization, which is neither more nor less than reaching every corner of the province in an articulated manner, with the mayors, listening to them and listening to what society needs."
“In La Pampa, federalism and decentralization are synonymous. At the national level we demand federalism and at the provincial level we exercise it. We arrived here today as we do to all the localities of the province, who governs who governs, because what worries us and occupies us is that there are pampas and pampeans who need policies of inclusion and equal opportunities, "said the governor.
"ITS NOT BY CHANCE"
“It is no coincidence that there is Internet access in the 80 localities of the Pampas. We have 2,100 kilometers of fiber optics spread throughout the province and we continue to invest, together with the National government, more than 500 million pesos to strengthen the connectivity infrastructure”, he highlighted.
“Connectivity is the modern form of social justice and that is what the PJ governments are aware of and we exercise it,” said Ziliotto. And he concluded by summoning those present to "continue advancing together, because the construction of State policies does not arise from the decisions of a government, but from the collective conviction within the framework of a common objective."
SUM OFFERS AND CHARACTERISTICS
Four companies participated in the tender to build the SUM: Fernández José Rubén; IACO Constructions; Elorza Carlos and Innokonst SA. The official budget calculated at April values ??is $357,539,303 million and the offers ranged between 2 and 9.02% below the official budget.
The building will be divided into three volumes, connectors and an access gallery. The main volume will contain the area for sports practice and competition, consisting of a covered playing field and an area for the public.
On the sides, linked through connecting steps, the buildings service blocks will be located; one of them intended for athletes, with bathrooms and changing rooms for two teams, and referees, as well as a deposit for sports equipment. The other block will contain restrooms for the public, infirmary and offices.
In the field of play, a court is planned for the practice of volleyball and basketball with the necessary equipment, foreseeing a space on the sides for the placement of telescopic stands.
The athletes block will be separated from the main one by a patio, with a central circulation scheme planned through which the changing rooms will be accessed.
