The work will be financed by National Roads, through an agreement with Provincial Roads, with an investment of more than 1,700 million pesos.
The Ministry of Public Works, through National Roads, informs that the opening of Public Tender No. 09/2022 was held today at the headquarters of the Municipality of Corcovado, which provides for the paving work of the second section of the Route Provincial No. 17, through an agreement with the Provincial Road Administration.
The act was headed by the governor of the province of Chubut, Mariano Arcioni, who was accompanied by the head of the 13th District of Chubut, Julio Otero; the president of AVP Cynthia Gélvez; the mayor of Corcovado Ariel Molina and the Minister of Infrastructure of the province, Gustavo Aguilera.
Five bids were submitted on the occasion. The company RIGEL SRL quoted the tasks at $2,695,939,006.46, while the company CHOEL SRL quoted the work at $2,133,318,065.71. For its part, the company Peña Construcciones offered $2,045,880,240.28; the company LAL SA $2,211,838,607.14; while the company Edisud SA quoted $1,778,257,063.50.
The work of Provincial Route No. 17 consists of the total reconstruction of the existing basic work and the construction of the roadway paved with asphalt layer 5 centimeters thick by 6 meters wide, over a total length of 28 kilometers, between progressive 26,28 and progressive 54, between the towns of Corcovado and Trevelin.
The shoulders will be granular, with a sealing bituminous surface treatment, in a width of 1 meter. The project will be complemented with horizontal and vertical signaling works, with security elements in accordance with the design characteristics of the route.
The term of execution of the work is 36 months, and the closed periods are included. The budget for the work, which will be financed by the Ministry of Public Works, through National Roads, amounts to $1,788,428,186.

Es una obra que va a demandar una inversión de más de 1.700 millones de pesos que se enmarcan dentro de una serie de obras que tenemos programadas con la provincia como es la continuidad de la pavimentación de la Ruta Provincial N°12 a Gualjaina o la Ruta Provincial 63 de José de San Martín a El Molle. Es una obra gestionada por el gobernador Arcioni y apoyada por nuestro Administrador general Gustavo Arrieta y forma parte de un proyecto de inversión vial muy federal. Entre todos, a través de Nación y provincia, estamos trabajando para lograr la infraestructura vial que necesita Chubut para favorecer el desarrollo turístico y productivo de la región”, indicó Julio Otero, jefe del 13° Distrito Chubut de Vialidad Nacional.
