Work Detail |
The national government, through Trenes Argentinos, announced the award of the tender to the Tecma-Riva company for the completion of the Villa Crespo station on the San Martín line. The tender awarded to the construction company Tecma-Riva includes all the works for the commissioning of the station and its opening to the public. The works of the La Paternal station are also advancing after almost three years of delays. Trenes Argentinos Infraestructura (ADIF) announced the award of the tender to the company Tecma-Riva for the completion works of the Villa Crespo station of the San Martín line. The call for bids was launched last January and the envelope with the technical proposals was opened in March, while the one containing the economic proposals was opened in April. Finally, the award was resolved last Tuesday at an ADIF board meeting, in favor of the only consortium that submitted to the certification, Tecma-Riva. The tender covers all the necessary interventions for the completion of the Villa Crespo station and its preparation for opening to the public. Among the tasks to be carried out are the completion of entrances and lobbies, stairs, slabs, platforms, shelters, the provision of signage and furniture, sanitary, electrical, audio and video surveillance installations, as well as the completion of ticket offices and operational buildings. , among other related facilities. Likewise, it is planned to replace the installed equipment that was damaged due to being abandoned for more than two years, such as the motors of the escalators and various components of the stations elevators (which are under water), reported the EnelSubte portal. The works of the La Paternal station, which presented a higher level of progress, are being carried out by the administration and are progressing at a good pace. A few days ago, the station was visited by a delegation headed by the president of ADIF-SOFSE, Martín Marinucci, and the manager of the San Martín line, Luciano Haas. It should be remembered that the completion of the works on the Villa Crespo and La Paternal stations – as well as on the fourth track of the viaduct – was the responsibility of the City Government after the previous national government delegated the execution of the project to it. This action of the management of Guillermo Dietrich was objected by audit reports of the National Commission for Transport Regulation (CNRT), which negatively observed the intervention in railway works of actors external to the system. After the political change in December 2019, the City disregarded the work and began to negotiate its transfer to the national State, which finally materialized last October. The assumption of the works by ADIF made it possible to begin to unblock the situation after more than two years of stagnation, in which some equipment installed in the stations was irreversibly damaged. |
