San Cayetano: Sewerage work awarded for the Boca del Tigre neighborhood
“After a decade of negotiations in different provincial and national agencies, today we begin to pay a debt with the residents of the Boca del Tigre neighborhood; in approximately six months they will be enjoying such an essential service as sewerage”, said Mayor Miguel Gargaglione after learning of the award of the work.
The Studies and Proposals Commission determined that Public Tender No. 4/2022 corresponding to the expansion of the sewage network with materials included, framed in the "Argentina Hace" program, be awarded to the company "COOLPO SRL" from La Plata, who quoted $110,248 .075.80.
The sewage network service expansion project in Barrio Boca del Tigre includes the quadrant of 45th Street, C. Magnin, 49th and San Martín Avenue. It contemplates the placement of a pumping and elevation station (located in a sector of the Prado Español, specifically on Avenida P. Perón and Magnin) which will allow expanding the coverage of said service to other neighborhoods such as the Bonomi area.
By exceeding the official budget by 17%, an addendum must be made with the National Entity for Water and Sanitation Works (ENOHSA), in order to then sign the contract with the winning company and start the corresponding works.
There will be 2,996 linear meters of piping; 86 plots will be able to connect to the network, 57 of them already have homes; "It is a project that has been expected for years and that today will directly benefit some 300 inhabitants," said the Mayor, who together with his government team are managing the feasibility of basic services for Villa Trave.
With respect to the work in Boca del Tigre, its financing is the responsibility of the national government, a commitment assumed by the Sub-administrator of ENOHSA, Néstor Álvarez, when the corresponding agreement was signed last March. |
