The tender for the expansion of sewage networks in different sectors of the city progresses. The work has a budget of just over 260 million pesos and 240 days to be executed.
In the offices of the Ministry of Public Services of Córdoba, the opening ceremony of the offers corresponding to the tender for the work “Expansion of sewage collection networks, sectors of the Alberdi and Banda Norte neighborhoods – Barrios Jardín Norte, Padre Carlos Múgica, 64 Housing and Alihuen Park in Río Cuarto”. The bidding companies were: Gruppi e Hijos SA; Red Sewer Riva SAIICFA – Tecma SA – Temporary Union; Tecnac SRL; and Marinelli S.A.
The work foresees the execution of sewage collection networks whose diameters are between 160 mm and 250 mm, including joints, accessories and household connections. In addition, concrete manholes will be built with pipes located on sidewalks or roadways. The official budget amounts to the sum of 260,028,977.78 pesos and the total term for its development is 240 days.
In the Banda Norte area (Jardín Norte, Padre Carlos Múgica, 64 homes and Parque Alihuen neighborhoods) approximately 12,981.82 meters of network will be built with their respective 107 manholes and 1,037 home connections. Meanwhile, in Barrio Alberdi there will be 4,457 meters of network, 26 manholes and 366 home connections.
In this context, the director of EMOS, Cristian Evangelista, expressed: “today is a historic day for us, since we see the largest work of home sewage networks advancing. We know that more than 1,500 families will benefit, improving their quality of life and promoting care for the environment.”
Likewise, the Secretary of Public Services, Alberto Bresciano, stated: “the work that is being put out to tender today will allow us to continue with the work that is being carried out, and in this way continue to increase the sanitation capacity by expanding the existing network to reach a larger number of beneficiaries. |
