The act of opening the envelopes of the public tender for the sweeping and cleaning service of paved streets of the city was carried out, to which three bidding firms were presented. The Evaluation Commission must define in the coming days which is the proposal that best suits the conditions established by the specifications, according to the public tender provided for by ordinance 7,802, approved unanimously in first and second reading by the Deliberative Council.
Villa María: Three bidders for the street sweeping and cleaning service tender
For this purpose, three firms were the bidders for the contract award. The Talamochita Ltda. Labor Cooperative presented an economic offer of 517 pesos per block, including sweeping and hydrowashing of paved streets and transportation of collected material.
The second firm to present itself was the Ecological Treatment Company SA, who proposed an amount of 636.64 pesos per block in reference to the sweeping service, yielding a total budget of 18,344,145 pesos and 8,110 per block in reference to the hydrowashing service, resulting in in a total of 4,655,140 pesos. Adding the three values, the final budget of the company was 22,999,285 pesos.
Finally, the third bidder was the company Covelia SA, which presented a proposal of 843.64 pesos per block for the sweeping service, leaving a total of 24,334,795.80 pesos; and 510 pesos per block in relation to the hydrowashing service, yielding a total balance of 5,411,916 pesos. Adding both concepts, the final offer amounted to 29,746,711.80 pesos.
Following the reading, the correct presentation of the formal requirements was verified by the three companies. The next instance will be in charge of the evaluation commission, which will meet next Monday, March 7 at 11 am at the municipal headquarters, in order to analyze the proposals and define which will be the firm awarded the service.
The opening of the envelopes was carried out by the chief of staff, Héctor Muñoz; the Secretary of Economy and Modernization, Daniela Lucarelli; and his peer from Environment, Works and Public Services, Omar Regueira. Accompanied in the act, the president of the Deliberative Council, Pablo Rosso; the president of the Court of Auditors, Mauro Beltrami; the legal adviser of the municipality, Santiago Tovo, and the councilors Julio Oyola, Juan Carlos Cladera and Karina Bruno.
