There are three bidders interested in the systematization work of the Sur Cintra basin, which aims to channel excess water
Works to prevent floodingThe opening of envelopes was carried out at the Ministry of Public Services of the Province.
In the Ministry of Public Services, the opening of offers corresponding to the tender for the work "Systematization of the South Cintra Basin" was carried out, which aims to treat the surface water surpluses found in the southern sector of the town and east of Provincial Route 3.
"This work is very important, since in addition to readjusting existing channeling works, it generates new regulations in the trajectory (of surpluses), which allows us to obtain many benefits for production," said the member of the Provincial Administration of Water Resources, William Vilchez.
For this, the execution of the following complementary works is contemplated:
– Sanitation Canal: a main planning work with a total length of 14,588 meters, with interventions in different sections: cleaning of the Litín Tortugas extension canal; readjustment of existing works, execution of new pipelines and secondary pipelines.
-Regulation sectors: within the limits of the macro-basin, the location of different regulation sectors is established in order to control the peak flows of the studied basins.
In this stage, four regulation works will be carried out, and in turn, regulating culverts will be placed in different sectors of the main channel and secondary channels.
- Guard embankment for the diversion channel to the Tercero River: the objective is to repair and adapt the existing guard embankment for the Diversion Channel to the Tercero River at its intersection with the Cotton Creek.
