This is the construction of a secondary network to expand the evacuation of effluents from the town Secondary network to expand the evacuation of effluents in General Las Heras The government of the province of Buenos Aires put out to tender the work of sewerage in the town of General Las Heras in the so-called zone 7 and zone 8, located to the northwest of the district. The works will allow expanding the evacuation of existing sewage effluents, benefiting more than 10,000 inhabitants. The official budget is $212,783,278.00 and a total of 6 offers were submitted. For Zone 7, the installation of 6,740 m of sewage collection pipe is planned, along with the execution of 240 home connections, of which 140 are short and 100 long. At the same time, 54 manholes and 14 access and ventilation mouths will be built. As for zone 8, work will be carried out in an area of ??105 hectares where 12,670 m of sewage pipe will be installed and 803 household connections will be executed, of which 428 are short and 375 long. In this regard, the Undersecretary of Water Resources of the Buenos Aires Ministry of Infrastructure, Guillermo Jelinski, said: We focus on solving problems of sanitation, drinking water and sewage for the 135 municipalities of the province as requested by our Governor and added that it is a very important work for the town because it benefits more than 10 thousand inhabitants”. For his part, the mayor of General Las Heras, Carlos Javier Osuna, stated: These are the types of fundamental works because they are the ones that take care of our health as a population that both we from the municipality and the government of the province have as a priority”.
