CLOCAL WATER TREATMENT PLANT IN LAS FLORES
The Undersecretary of Water Resources through the Provincial Directorate of Water and Sewage (DIPAC), tendered the work "New sewage treatment plant" for the district of Las Flores, which has an official budget of $628,299,666.00 for its execution.
The works consist of a secondary biological treatment plant, with aerobic reactors with aeration by diffusers, secondary settlers and disinfection. The sludge will be treated aerobically taking advantage of the facilities of the existing PDC Beds.
WORK DESIGN
The design contemplates the construction of the civil works of a single treatment module at the beginning (aeration tank and settler) with the possibility of incorporating more diffusers and another blower in year 10 of the design period to cover future demand.
In this regard, the Undersecretary of Water Resources, Guillermo Jelinski, expressed: "The existing plant is modernized and a more efficient treatment is made that will allow 25 thousand inhabitants to have a better quality of life" and added that "the mayor is the true architect of this work, he discussed it with our governor Kicillof, who quickly told our Minister Simone to instruct us to carry out the tender”
For his part, the mayor of Las Flores, Alberto Gelené, said: "I want to thank the entire team of the Undersecretary of Water Resources with whom we worked together from day one on this work that is very significant for our city" and added that “will allow us a sustainable and orderly development”.
