Work Detail | BMW AG has renewed its approval for 2016 of Spies Hecker and Standox - two of the global premium refinish brands of Axalta Coating Systems (NYSE: AXTA), a leading global manufacturer of liquid and powder coatings. The agreements with the two brands include use of Spies Hecker® and Standox® refinish technologies, including comprehensive technical body shop support and targeted training, across BMW AG’s service network in 39 countries across Europe, Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe and Asia-Pacific. Jürgen Knorr, Director, Key Accounts, Refinish Systems in Axalta’s Europe, Middle East and Africa region, says, “Our refinish paint technologies and services have once again passed the stringent tests that are a standard part of the intensive BMW renewal process.” In addition to supplying BMW AG dealerships with refinish paint systems, Spies Hecker and Standox also provide practical training and local support under the terms of the contract. The two premium global refinish brands offer workshops, comprehensive expert advice and hands-on application tips to help BMW AG body shops maximize efficiency.
