Integrated water treatment solutions provider H2O Innovation has secured six new municipal and industrial contracts worth $17.8m in North America.
These new contracts will bring the company’s project sales backlog to $42.2m.
Under the first project worth $10m, the company will upgrade a dual membrane system of a municipal water treatment plant in Manitoba, Canada.
Designed by H2O Innovation, the system will treat the surface water of a river by ultrafiltration (UF) followed by nanofiltration (NF).
The UF system will be able to initially treat 34.5 MGD (5,440 m3/hour) of water, while the NF system will treat 27.6 MGD (4,350 m3/hour).
The second contract awarded by an undisclosed customer in Ohio includes the supply of a six-train reverse osmosis (RO) system, including feed pumps and cartridge filter housings, a clean-in-place and flush system and an antiscalant dosing system to treat 6.0 MGD (1,140 m3/hour).
As part of the third project, H2O Innovation will expand production capacity of an existing water treatment system by providing three additional UF trains with a total capacity of 250 GPM (57 m3/hour).
Furthermore, the company will provide one RO train with a capacity of 180 GPM (41 m3/hour), and one sand filter for the cooling tower system.
Other two municipal projects won are in New Brunswick and Alberta, Canada.
The first one comprises a water treatment system for the Village of Petit Rocher (NB), while the second is for a membrane bioreactor system (MBR) to replace the city’s wastewater treatment plant in Alberta.
Finally, the company will construct a 0.3 MGD (57 m3/hour) seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) desalination plant in the Caribbean. |
