It is the North Sports Center, a work to be carried out in a space that was occupied by a settlement. The neighborhood road and pedestrian network will be landscaped and improved.
The mayor, Esteban Martín Piaggio, signed the decree days ago to call for bids for the work that will allow the construction of the shed that will house the New North Sports Center.
In this regard, the mayor stated: "With this work, a historic request from the northern neighborhood will be satisfied, thus allowing our gurises and our gurisas to be given a public space where they can carry out various sports activities."
And he added "We know that sport is the best activity for our gurises and gurisas to develop different types of values ??that are the pillar for growth as a society," said Piaggio, who added: "This Sports Center, a project that we carry out with the national government , achieves an ideal urban integration by being located in an area with easy access, thus guaranteeing that all the neighbors can attend ».
It should be remembered that this investment is made from the fifth disbursement of the Habitat Suburbio Norte plan. In this regard, Piaggio said: “The previous national government decided not to end the disbursements of this plan, and as soon as the new government was taken on, we began the steps that would allow this work to proceed. The last days we received the fifth disbursement of money from the national Ministry of Habitat, which allows us to make this call for bids to complete the work and make the Sports Center a reality. ”
"From the municipal State we set out from the beginning to promote the practice of sport in all ages and sectors of the population" stressed Piaggio, and continued: "We understand that sport is a link with education, health, development and Peace through social integration, that is why through different projects we materialize them together with clubs and residents of the city. One of the objectives that we have within the management continuity project is to improve the sports infrastructure of the city ”.
«Its implementation is strategic, it is located in the Bv block. Montana and Saenz Peña with great accessibility from the center and connecting it with the neighborhood, achieving urban integration ».
For his part, the Secretary of Habitat Ricardo Delvecchio explained that "the work includes an area of ??1,200 square meters that will allow the development of sports activities" and continued: "It started with the reinforced concrete stall to later incorporate the metal structure, the masonry closing, lighting, access, among others ».
Recall that the northern area of ??the city is being completely transformed from the North Suburb Habitat Program, from which more than 100 blocks of gutter cordon, 20 blocks of asphalt, construction of storm drains, water and sewer connections have already been completed. , public spaces, among others. Likewise, with the program, homes were relocated and the public thoroughfare was landscaped together with the improvement of the neighborhoods road and pedestrian network. All the works are carried out accompanied by the Human Development Program through activities with a gender perspective, participation, environmental, sports, cultural and educational. |
