The bidding ceremony was held at Ceptur facilities, led by Mayor Juan Pablo Luque together with the Secretary for Infrastructure and Public Works, Maximiliano López and the UOCRA Secretary General, Raúl Silva.
The package of works includes the reconstruction of the Francisco Pietrobelli boulevard in the downtown area and the start-up of the first stage of the public square on Nahuel Huapi Avenue at Km 8.
Likewise, 2600 m2 of concrete pavement and gutter cordon will be executed in the Diadema neighborhood of Argentina; and the restitution of the sewer collector on Avenida Fray Luis Beltrán, which was affected by the climatic catastrophe.
Regarding the infrastructure tendered, Juan Pablo Luque said that “thanks to the unity of the city we can demonstrate that we can get ahead. We have been working together between the Municipality, the neighborhood residents who manage their neighborhoods and with Raúl Silva at the head of the UOCRA workers to be able to invest in difficult times in infrastructure that improves the quality of life of our people and, in turn , they allow us to give work to the workers so that they can take the bread to their homes ”.
“We have made the firm decision to take care of the income and resources of this Municipality to be able to turn it over to labor for infrastructure. This time, we invested more than 70 million pesos at a time when the pandemic is taking away a large part of the world economy, "he acknowledged and emphasized that" we are trying to ensure that many people can live with dignity. "
"Be fair to all neighborhoods"
Under this concept determined by the mayor, from the portfolio of Infrastructure its owner, Maximiliano López detailed the central characteristics of the tendered projects ranging from beautification of public spaces to improvement of the road network and solution to sewer overflow for various neighborhoods in the area north.
In the first instance, the restoration work of the sewer collector on Avenida Fray Luis Beltrán impacted by the 2017 climate catastrophe, includes the reconstruction of more than 600 meters of pipes with more than 40 manholes to contain the overflows of sewage liquid that it affects the Divina Providencia and Saavedra neighborhoods, mainly. "This resolves the environmental impact in the area and that also has to do with health prevention for the population of these sectors," said the official.
Regarding the beautification of public spaces, a project for the reconstruction of the traditional boulevard that paid tribute to Francisco Pietrobelli was tendered, with the placement of lighting and street furniture. Likewise, the first stage of a green space in Standard Norte will begin as part of the urban planning that has been promoting municipal management "so that all residents can enjoy places of recreation with the family."
In relation to the paving and gutter cords, the tender awaited by the residents of the Diadema Argentina neighborhood was opened, “where a strong intervention will be made with an integral replacement of basic services and the construction with top quality concrete so that it has a greater durability".
Desired works
In recognition of the response of the local Executive, the neighborhood leader of Diadema Argentina, Ángel Samienta stated that “it is important to emphasize the efforts of the officials who always put their faces on both good and bad things. We were waiting for this work with the commission and the whole neighborhood a long time ago because they are very busy streets for the population and we are very excited that it will soon begin to be executed ”.
“Without a doubt, the pavement is important, especially in this season where the cold, snow and rains begin. We only have words of thanks and we hope to continue working together as we have been doing for our neighborhood, "he concluded. |
