Australian contractor Worley has secured a construction and site maintenance services agreement from synthetic crude oil producer Syncrude Canada. The agreement means Worley will provide services at Syndcrude’s Canadian hydrocarbon facilities over a period of five years. The deal extends the Australian contractor’s 29-year relationship with Syncrude Canada. Worley’s field services team will provide services for bitumen production, bitumen processing, upgrader, extraction, and exchanger units within the facilities. The field services team of the company will execute the work in collaboration with Worley’s Canadian and global untegrated delivery offices. Worley CEO Chris Ashton said: “We are pleased to continue supporting Syncrude and to build upon our long-term relationship. “As an Australian company operating globally, we look forward to continuing to service the Canadian energy and resources market.” |
