More than 12 thousand vehicles of different sizes and characteristics circulate daily on the capital section of Ruta Provincia Nº 5, so the Provincial Government determined to carry out duplication works on the road, which will generate benefits for about nine neighborhoods in the area. The bidding for the works, which will require an investment of more than $ 600 million, will take place these days and the State is receiving the offers.
The works to widen the causeway of Provincial Route No. 5 will extend in the section between the Roundabout of the Virgen de Itatí and the access to Laguna Brava, in approximately six linear kilometers. In addition, it will be complemented with the "Travesía Urbana Corrientes" highway that currently runs on National Route No. 12.
The Government of the Province will carry out the bidding for the duplication works of the road of the capital section of Provincial Route No. 5, which includes a comprehensive road intervention with a budget of $ 659,612,675 from provincial funds. This is an intervention that will benefit the residents of the Cremonte, San Ignacio, Samela, Lomas, Parque Cadenas, Sapucay, Ponce, Santa Rita and Dos Curvas neighborhoods, and the multiple wholesale and retail businesses that are located on both sides of the artery that was absorbed by growth and urban expansion.
The works contemplate two roads with bands separated by New barriers
