The provincial government launched the tender for the construction of the new multipurpose room and gym in the Ángel Gallardo school building (ESRN 46), a historic educational establishment in Bariloche located on the waterfront. The space will have an official investment of 66,692,562 pesos and contemplates the construction of dressing rooms, taking into account the orientation in art and theater of its teaching. In mid-March the offers for the construction of the gymnasium will be announced, which responds to an old demand from the educational community since three schools coexist in the same building in three shifts and some 1,500 students attend. The SUM-gym will be 850 m2 and the exterior will also be intervened in about 1,375 m2 to readjust the sports area that will have double access, according to the Minister of Public Works, Carlos Valeri. The play The new SUM will include a stage with dressing rooms, toilet, underground storage, kitchen with pantry, waste tank and cistern, public toilets, general warehouse, machine room, toilet suitable for people with disabilities and teachers, beach with pedestrian access for service and vehicular. The buildings will be linked through the SUM hall and the access area to the educational center on the ground floor. The SUM will be implemented in the southeast sector adjacent to the existing building on Laprida and Luelmo streets, it will be integrated into a sports beach by means of an esplanade that absorbs the unevenness of the terrain, as reported by the government.
