The Superior Court of Justice of Entre Ríos (STJER) awarded the firm Mirich, Gastón Federico the provision and installation of modular buildings for the Justice of the Peace in Bovril, Viale and Santa Elena. Pursuant to Resolution 492/19, dated last December 30, the contractor will receive 17,472,000 pesos for his work. The amount represented 12 percent more than the official budget, set at 15,600,000 pesos and prepared based on prices in force in July 2019. According to the report of the STJs Office of Purchases and Advice incorporated into the file, the difference in prices registered in excess could be explained, as indicated by the technical area, in the increase produced between the month of July (first call) and October of the current year , when the second call for Public Bid No. 08/19. Among other reasons, reference was made to the increases registered in the prices of inputs for construction, labor and other variables that affect this type of construction, thus accounting for a gap between the reference budget and the opening of second call envelopes. The first call, whose bids were opened on October 8, 2019, involved the participation of six companies, but their proposals were declared not admissible for different breaches of formal requirements set forth in the tender specifications. That motivated the second process, which took place two weeks later. Of the six offers received, four were declared not admissible for non-compliance with formal requirements, while another was rejected for failing to present a work plan and investment curve. That is why the STJER decided to award Mirich and make room at the highest cost. |
