Manufacturer of wide format printers Mimaki said it will launch Pro series, a line of belt type direct to textile inkjet printers which includes the Tiger-1800B, Leopard-1800B, and Fox-1800B. These are developed by Italy’s La Meccanica SpA, which will become a subsidiary, once it is fully acquired by Mimaki. Mimaki plans to make these models available in September. With a maximum printing speed of 390 sq. metres per hour, Tiger-1800B is fit for high-volume production, while the Leopard-1800B can be used in a wide range of applications from sample creation to small lot production and the Fox-1800B is an even more compact model than Leopard-1800B. According to Mimaki, the three products offered in this series will complete its line-up by filling the gap between its medium-speed digital textile inkjet printer Tx500-1800B with maximum printing speed of 140 sq. metres per hour and its high-speed digital textile inkjet printer MM700-1800B with a maximum printing speed of 800 sq. metres per hour. “Twin pressure roller shafts and a wrinkle and jam sensor secures a stable textile transportation, while a degassing module maintains stable ink-jetting. Additionally, various optional units, including feeding or take-up units are offered to fit diverse production needs and factory environments,” the company added. (AR) |
