Omega SRL will be responsible for repairing access to the North Highway. Work has already begun on the Cañónón de las Cabras sinkhole. The Omega SRL company started the repair operation in the access to Autovía Norte. The work will be extended for 30 days in a row until its completion, which is estimated to be at the end of January. The tender granted on December 10 to Omega will demand an amount of 5.6 million pesos. The backhoe movement began a few days ago. The purpose of extending the North Highway bypass is so that the heaviest machinery can work and maneuver to the lowest ground level. In the place a truck was located to deposit the loose land that was contaminated with the sewage, since the sinkhole originated from the rupture of a pipe that crosses the area. Subsequently, this landfill will be transferred in the truck and deposited in some authorized land of the capital of Neuquén. “Then an embankment will be built from below with selected soil, it is done in 20 cm layers and then compacted. Until reaching the base level and then the black base is built and the folder is applied, ”explained the head of the 12th National Road district, Nelson Damiani.
