Farnak, a leader in facilities management, technology and sustainability services, based in the United Arab Emirates, has signed a new contract with Dubai Airports for a period of five years.
Under the contract, Farnek will allocate about 800 employees to provide comprehensive cleaning services in Terminals 1 and 2, the Concourse D building and the cargo village, in addition to Al Maktoum International Airport "Dubai World Central".
On this occasion, Dorothy Stein, Head of Facilities Care at Dubai Airports said: "Our partnership with Farnock is not new, as it has been the main provider of services at Dubai airports since 2014, so it was chosen to provide cleaning services due to the great experience of its employees. In this field, they have a wide understanding of the ideal cleaning standards and their eagerness to conduct audits and monitoring of their performance permanently.
In the same vein, Farnek will manage the cleaning works in the various internal departments of the airport, including all passenger areas in addition to the runway. It will also supervise facilities management for other stakeholders such as airport police, customs, immigration, airline and free zone offices. In addition, Farnick will be partially responsible for managing the vehicle service at Al Maktoum International Airport.

"
This certificate will help Farnake customers gain more points in the field of energy and environmental design in line with the LEED standards for green buildings, through the clean operations, operation and maintenance of green that Farneck provides them.
This aims to encourage and support building owners and operators to become more responsible towards the environment through the use of more efficient and sustainable materials, which is in line with Dubais vision and aspirations that aims to become one of the best smart and sustainable cities in the world by one year. 2021.
