Within the framework of the government innovation competition (Idea) launched by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, First Deputy Prime Minister, 12 ideas were qualified for the next stage of the competition, in which ideas will be presented to a committee of ministers to select projects Qualifying for the final stage, after completing the evaluation phase of the forty proposals by four committees of stakeholders and specialists over the past two days.
The evaluation phase of forty proposals began after the owners of each idea from individuals and groups chose the committee that will present their proposals to them by lot, where three minutes were allocated for each presentation before the committee, and the process of evaluating the offers resulted in the selection of 12 ideas for the next stage of the government innovation competition (idea), as follows :
1. The online platform for government procurement
Submitted by Ali Bukhammas and Abdulaziz Al-Buainain from the Civil Service Bureau, Ahmed Al-Kuwari from the National Revenue Agency, and Mohammed Bou Ali from the Ministry of Finance and National Economy.
2. Courts application
Submitted by Ahmed Al-Arifi from the office of the First Deputy Prime Minister.
3. Virtual Employment Center
Submitted by Iman Al-Sammak and Ibtihal Al-Shihabi from the Labor Market Regulatory Authority.
4. Catalysis: an application for productive families
Submitted by Maryam Hassan from the Ministry of Labor and Social Development.
5. The National Technical Skills Development Program
Provided by Ahmed Al-Saffar from the Bahrain Training Institute.
6. National Strategy for Electric Vehicles
Provided by Mona Al Alawi from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Tourism.
7. EParkBH - Replacement of parking meters with an electronic application
Provided by Alia Al-Qahtani from the Ministry of Interior, and Nouf Al-Qahtani from the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs

The Government Innovation Competition (Idea) comes with the aim of enhancing the culture of creativity and innovation in order to achieve the aspirations of government action, developing its quality and improving its outputs by transforming challenges into development opportunities according to the principles of the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 which is sustainability, competitiveness and justice, and the government program 2019-2022. |
