ZLÍN - The commencement of a public contract for a comprehensive study of the modernization and completion of the Regional Hospital T. Bata in Zlín was approved by the councilors. The contract will be implemented in the form of open over-limit procedure including tender documentation and its estimated value is seven million crowns including VAT, the server Zlin.cz informed the spokesman of the regional office Adéla Kousalová.
“I fundamentally disagree with such a study because it is a nonsensical alibism and only a way to delay the construction of a new hospital. Anyone who has ever reconstructed something knows that building a greenfield hospital is many times easier, cheaper, more modern, more comfortable for workers and patients than reconstructing and demolishing old buildings. During the reconstruction, it is not always possible to guarantee quality care and treatment of patients, it is always a professional compromise, the economy of the hospital always worsens and patients begin to search for other, better facilities, ”commented construction companies have warned us that such a reconstruction will take at least 15 years. And the result will never be as good as a new hospital. Nevertheless, I am obliged to respect the decision of the council and we have to commission this study. We will land like a Brno railway station, incompetent politicians are still demanding some studies in the drawer and the railway station is not in sight. Of course, when you dont drive, you can walk, but if you dont heal, she dies. ”
Prior to the preparation of the tender dossier, the so-called market consultations were carried out transparently to identify information from potential suppliers that could affect the content and method of award. After their evaluation, the assignment was re-formulated and documents on the condition of buildings and utilities in the Zlín hospital area were prepared. The deadline for implementation is April to October 2020.
"The study should include in particular the construction solution of the premises, the construction schedule with the condition of continuous provision of health care, medical model proposal, proprietary solution, cost and investment model of gradual modernization of the hospital," said Jirí Sukop offer price, qualification and experience of the implementation team. |
