Prime Minister Dr. Omar Razzaz on Tuesday morning sponsored the launching ceremony
of the government procurement department, which came within the framework of the
second package of the government s economic program announced by the government
-yesterday
Director of the Government Procurement Department Dr. Nizar Muhaidat said during the ceremony,
which was attended by Finance Ministers Dr. Mohammed Al-Assas and the State for Information
Affairs Amjad Al-Adayleh, Aayan, deputies, directors and general secretaries of the ministries and
government departments- It seeks to institutionalize and standardize procedures in order to activate
-the efficiency of the government apparatus and raise the level of services provided to citizens
He pointed out that among these measures was the approval of the procurement system No. 28 of
2019, which came together for all procurement systems in the Kingdom and merged the two
departments of the unified procurement of medicines and the general supplies department at the
-government procurement department
He stressed that the government procurement department is a key pillar in the matrix of financial and
-administrative reforms |
