28 interventions package will cover areas such as health, education, safety and mobility
The Santa Maria Administrative Region will undergo major transformations. On Thursday (17/10), Governor Ibaneis Rocha announced a package of 28 works and deliveries to the city in the areas of mobility, infrastructure, lighting, education, sports, health and safety in the order of $ 21.8 million. .
The news was communicated by the Chief Executive at an event at the 416 Educational Center of Santa Maria, a school that will join the team of teaching units with shared management between the Department of Education and the Military Police of the Federal District.
“É um pacote de obras que, mesmo em um período de crise, nós buscamos junto a cada um dos administradores, Câmara Legislativa e Federal as prioridades das cidades. Em época de crise temos que incentivar a economia produtiva e o governo dá a sua parcela de contribuição para o desenvolvimento da cidade”, afirmou Ibaneis Rocha, reforçando que as benfeitorias destinadas à região administrativa serão levadas para as demais.

Urban mobility
- construction of the Santa Maria bus terminal,
- construction of the bike path in DF 483, which connects Santa Maria to Gama
Education
- shared management with the Military Police at CED 416
- renovation and expansion of Puerto Ricos Class 1 School
- improvement of infrastructure in 15 public schools
- coverage of CEF 213 multi-sport courts and Special Education Center 01 at CL 208
Infrastructure
- paving of the 371 vicinal (Total Ville)
- contracting of the Santa Maria Permanent Fair project
- implementation of parking in blocks 100 and 103
- formalization of the 1st Adopt One Square project, held in Block 118
Security and street lighting
- installation of 42 video monitoring cameras 24h -
installation of LED lighting on avenues Alagados and Santa Maria, on commercial blocks 202/302 and 216/316 and on the DF-483 bike path
