The Medium Term Financial Plan (2020-2022) prepared by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance and the Strategy and Budget Presidency was announced to the public with the Official Gazette published yesterday. Together with the Medium Term Fiscal Plan, the government will take measures to balance the budget next year. One of these was announced regarding the sale of public housing which was highly anticipated and closely monitored. The Medium Term Fiscal Plan included the decision to privatize and sell public social facilities and dormitories that are idle. The first stage of the privatization will be completed by selling 5000 public housing. Property owned by the state will be determined individually and lodging statistics will be created. All the lodging except the compulsory lodging (such as MIT Lodging) will be separated according to their values ??and the sale of the lodging will be realized starting from the housing with high repair costs. In addition, the immovable property owned by the Treasury will be transferred to implementing institutions to be used in the financing of important public projects and will be added to the economy.
