The Tender and Auctions Board, the independent regulatory body responsible for overseeing government bidding and bidding practices, today opened 36 tenders for 5 tenders from 4 parties.
During the session, one tender was opened to the Ministry of Health for the provision of laundry services at the Textile Services Section at Salmaniya Medical Complex. Four tenders were received for this tender.
In the telecommunication sector, one tender was opened to the TRA for the recruitment of a qualified consultant to conduct a comprehensive study on information security and event management ( SIEM ) in the telecommunications sector, and 5 tenders were received for this tender.
As for the tourism sector, one tender has been opened to the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTA) for the construction, manufacture, delivery and dismantling of a booth for the Travel and Tourism Expo to be held in Barcelona in November 2019, with a total of 6 bids received.
Finally, two tenders were opened for Gulf Air, one of them an international tender for the provision of high-quality plastic tableware to Economy Class passengers, and 10 bids were received. The other was on the provision of multiple paper supplies, with 11 bids received.
