The act of opening bids for the public tender was carried out, which the Municipality of Tandil convened for the development of the first stage of the Cervantes Theater recovery project.
The administrative process carried out by the communal government occurs after, in April of this year, the Secretary of Culture of the Nation, Pablo Avelluto, the Mayor Miguel Lunghi, the rector of the Unicen Roberto Tassara and the President of the Society Spanish Mutual Aid, Manuel Martínez Martínez, will sign an agreement to carry out the works.
This agreement was the result of the efforts initiated by the Municipality, the University and the Spanish Mutual Relief Society under the Bicentennial Agreement.
This first instance of the project seeks to prevent the progress of the deterioration, so it was decided to demolish the walls planned to reduce loads that may generate risks due to the current deterioration (aging and fatigue of the materials). The wall box will be propped up with placement of reinforcement structures, restoration of vaults and concrete sanitation.
In turn, it will be waterproofed to prevent the advance of moisture that sharpens the focused and general deterioration of both materials (wood floors) and the main structures (walls, vaults, slabs, irons, etc.). The waterproofing of the sheet cover, the resolution of the rain system and the skylight, will end the entry of water directly or indirectly, also preventing the entry of birds.
The mayor Lunghi said that “in the same way we did a few months ago, today we take another step on the road that we are traveling with the aim of recovering that emblematic theater, which is part of the heritage and history of the city and that unfortunately Many years ago he was very mistreated. ”
In the tender two companies were presented, although the offer of one of them was rejected due to non-compliance in the presentation of part of the documentation required in the specifications.
The offer that was opened corresponded to the company Idinet Consulting Group SA for a value of 16,121,348.90 pesos.
Now the pre-awarding commission must analyze the documentation presented to determine the result of the tender. |
