This Thursday, September 12, the director (s) of ChileCompra, Dora Ruiz, highlighted the scope and benefits of collaborative purchases that have been made since the end of 2018 and that involve adding demand from public bodies when acquiring a Same good or service. This in the context of Modernization Dialogues: Collaborative purchases: aggregation of demand in the State for efficient purchases, an activity carried out by the Undersecretariat of Finance. During the first semester, the coordination of 68 central government agencies and the entire health network was achieved, which allowed savings for the State equivalent to US $ 50 million. Together with entities of the Central Government and the Health sector, coordinated and centralized collaborative purchases were made to obtain greater efficiency in prices for purchases of electric energy, mobile telephony, purchase and rental of computers, knee prostheses, diapers for adults, satisfaction study of users, fuel and liquefied gas, meats. Purchases of hip prostheses, food, medical devices and clinical oxygen are currently underway. Regarding what was presented, Amaya Fraile, Coordinator of the Secretariat of Modernization of the State of the Ministry of Finance , said “We are very happy with the progress that ChileCompra has made through collaborative purchases and the different processes made, with centralized, joint purchases and coordinated. As Secretary of Modernization of the Ministry of Finance we offer all our support to the ChileCompra team to continue promoting these purchasing modalities through which the objective of generating greater efficiency in public spending is met ”. |
