According to the information published on the website, a tender for passenger air transport services for special flights and the reservation of aircraft for special flights was announced on July 22. The tender was won by Windrose that proposed providing the necessary services for UAH 35.1 million, which was the expected cost. The contract with the company was concluded on August 2. Flights will be performed from Boryspil Airport by Airbus A320 and Airbus A321 aircraft. According to Ukrainian legislation, special flights are performed for the transportation of Ukrainian high-ranking officials, as well as the heads of state and government of foreign countries arriving in Ukraine or crossing its air space. The Ukraine State Air Enterprise was established in 1997 to ensure the transportation by special flights of senior officials and official delegations of Ukraine and other states in Ukraine and abroad. The enterprise is run by the State Affairs Department. |
