Sources revealed to Al-Rai that the Ministry of Justice addressed its Finance Minister regarding the request to rent housing for about 100 judges seconded from another country to the Kuwaiti Ministry of Justice. The sources said that the Ministry of Finance was unable to provide housing for these judges, on the back of the failure of the Central Agency for Public Tenders to adopt new regulations for leasing, which halted the procedures for renting new buildings until further notice. The «opinion» published a few days ago a proposal of the Ministry of Finance, on the organization of the process of leasing real estate to the official authorities, which provides for the independence of each party to rent the necessary properties according to their needs. In this context, real estate owners considered that the suspension of the lease of buildings by the government, cast a negative impact on the investment real estate sector, as many owners of qualified buildings depend on the official authorities to rent their buildings. |
