Dukovany II. Key topic of the business trip of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Karel Havlícek to the Highlands.

Karel Havlícek also explained to the representatives of the Energy Trebíc Region, which are representatives of local municipalities, the timetable for the construction of new nuclear sources: “The construction of Dukovan II could start around 2030 and the block or blocks could be built between 2035 and 2040.
We expect that within two weeks, CEZ, which is to be the investor of the project, will receive a statement on the possible environmental impact of the new nuclear source in the EIA system. They must tighten their contracts with CEZ and start negotiating with the European Commission. Preparations for the tender for the Dukovany block supplier should follow next year. ”
Further negotiations in Trebíc took place in the industrial zone, where the companies Tedom Group and Nuvia are located. Tedom Group is synonymous with cogeneration units for natural gas and biogas and the company also develops and manufactures its own engines.
Nuvia supplies equipment and services to the nuclear power industry and industry. He can also use laboratory technology, customer software or industrial automation.
