The reconstruction of the wastewater treatment plant in Václavovice in the Frýdek-Místek region cost more than CZK 14 million.
The wastewater treatment plant in Václavovice, built in the early 1980s, which was partially reconstructed sixteen years ago, underwent significant modernization. The time of operation was reflected in the technical condition of the equipment and the construction part, so the renovation was necessary. The event started in the middle of last year and construction ended in the middle of this years holiday.
Wastewater treatment plant in two thousand inhabitants in Václavovice has the capacity to treat wastewater from 1600 inhabitants. It can treat more than 101,000 cubic meters of wastewater per year and can feed up to 25 liters of wastewater per second to the treatment plant.
"We exchanged as pumps in the inlet pumping station in the heart of sewage - in the aeration tank - are new aeration elements, exchanged and we added blowers in the sump, we changed pipes excess sludge, internal piping and piping sewage water," says the director of sewers SmVaK Ostrava Jan Tlolka.
New inlets from the activation tank were built in the final settling tank; In the field of operation technology management system, the blower frequency converter, ultrasonic level measurement and oxygen concentration measurement in the purified water were replaced.
Reconstruction and modernization also received the construction part. Concrete structures in the inlet pumping station and the whole biological line were repaired, railing around the tanks, doors in the operational building and engine room were replaced, the sludge tank as well as the existing paved areas in the area were repaired. |
