Enseada will receive at its shipyard, located in Maragojipe, Bahia, the Safe Concordia platform, owned by Prosafe. The contract, which was just signed in Rio de Janeiro, provides that the equipment will be in Enseadas industrial complex for up to six months to perform maintenance services.
According to Enseada Commercial Director Carlos Tsubake, the shipyards strategic location and operational differentials were decisive for the partnership.
“We are very pleased with this new contract, the first with Prosafe. This is another maintenance contract where we will receive a platform without the removal of thrusters, although it is possible to remove these equipment in sheltered waters, approximately 20 km away from the yard, ”says Tsubake.
The director also states that another advantage of Enseadas industrial park is the supply of high quality electricity (29MW and 69KV), which does not require the use of platform generators. “This results in significant savings for our customer,” he says.
