With an investment of a sum greater than 8 million pesos, the Municipal Government made the tender for maintenance, cleaning and repair of sewers in Zones A and B of rural roads.
The work to be carried out has the objective of advancing in the process of improving the quality of life of the rural community, and having a correct means of transfer and output channel of production.
The opening of economic offers was attended by the Secretary of Maintenance and Public Works Architect Julio Ferraro, the Director of Rural Roads Jorge Martínez and the Director of Tenders Guillermina Amespil.
The work to be done includes all the tasks to carry out the Maintenance, Cleaning and Repair of Sewers service of the Olavarría Party road network, aimed at preserving the level of service for which they have been designed.
Maintenance is based on the elimination of all types of material or waste that obstructs the free passage of water through the sewer, thus allowing the maintenance of good drainage.
In this sense, the cleaning and prosecution of existing watercourses must be carried out, both at the entrance and at the exit of the same.
Likewise, the contractor must leave the sewer in perfect condition, without broken sections or pipes, clean and with minimal cover. Sections may be repaired or broken pipes replaced, individually, when possible. Otherwise, the entire sewer must be replaced, and in both cases a firm base must be made, where the sewer is perfectly seated.
The area consists of a total road network of 1045.85 kilometers, of which 374.85 kilometers are primary, 360.88 kilometers are secondary and 310.20 kilometers tertiary.
