SOFIA (Bulgaria), July 22 (SeeNews) - Bulgarias Pleven city said it has signed a 4.8 million levs ($2.8 million/2.5 million euro) investment credit agreement with the Regional Urban Development Fund AD company and Expressbank to finance the reconstruction of its bus station and the modernisation of the central city zone.
The project is co-financed with 2.8 million levs by the European Regional Development Fund under Operational Programme Regions in Growth 2014-2020, the city council said in a statement last week.
The project envisages the overhaul of the citys bus station, including repair of its bus zone, installation of video surveillance systems and overhaul of the existing water supply system. The tender also envisages the upgrade of over 12,000 sq. m. of the pedestrian area in the citys central part.
The Pleven municipality has to fully repay the loan within 12 years. |
