"Investing in health means investing in the future, guaranteeing rights, and investing in education," said Lifschitz.
The governor Miguel Lifschitz, accompanied by the president of the Chamber of Deputies of the Province, Antonio Bonfatti, opened the envelopes with the background of the bidding companies for the public tender corresponding to the second stage of the work of the new Nodal Hospital of Rafaela. The official budget established is $ 1,198,065,665.70 and the execution period is 30 months.
Due to the magnitude of the tender, which includes all the work and provisions necessary for the work to be completely completed, the opening of envelopes is in two instances: the first with the technical background of the bidding companies and the second with the economic proposals of the firms that have qualified.
"The first stage of the work, which was tendered during the administration of Antonio Bonfatti as governor, and which I had to initiate and develop during this time, allowed not only to finish the structure, but also to do complementary works," explained Lifschitz.
«A few months ago everything was ready to tender for the second stage, but I asked the Public Works and Health teams not to do a second and a third stage, but to do a single final stage that included the whole work missing: the enclosures, the openings and all the integral architecture and the necessary facilities so that the hospital can work », described.
"In this way, once we open the envelopes and make the award process, we will have a contract with a company that will start the works and that will continue during the next government, but with a process already started and with a signed contract to give peace and security to all of Rafaelas neighbors and the entire department that this project is going to end. "
Bonfatti, on the other hand, referred to the continuity of State policies: "Undoubtedly these mega-projects are not solved in a short time, but the basic principles that we had pronounced opportunely as health and education are in sight. We are happy for the word fulfilled, "he said.
Health network

The new nodal hospital, located in the northern part of the city with fluid accessibility for both urban displacements and connections with national route 34 and provincial route 70, is located on a 16,500 square meter property. Then the Province of Santa Fe bought the land that will occupy the access plaza, arranged in the southern area, in order to provide the hospital with an area of ??expansion and arrival. This access plaza will function as an urban link between the city and the effector, with flats, green areas, equipment and lighting designed for recreation and will have a parking for staff.
The project of this building follows the architectural guidelines and medical programs used in the series of new highly complex nodal hospitals built and under development, in the cities of Reconquista, Santa Fe, Rosario and Venado Tuerto.
In this case, it is a building of horizontal development of ground floor, technical mezzanine and two upper floors, divided into four blocks. The building has double entry (public / ambulatory and emergency / guard) and double circulation (public and restricted technique for doctors and staff). Between the blocks patios were projected that favor the natural illumination and ventilation of all the building. In the subsoil is located the engine room and cistern tanks.
The ground floor will have 140 beds, hall, admissions, medical guard, diagnostic imaging (X-ray, tomography, magnetic resonance), day hospital, laboratory, outpatient consultation with 14 offices, cafeteria, technical services area, morgue, laundry and pharmacy. It will have in the technical mezzanine, a technical area for laying installations.
On the first floor there will be hospitalization of medium and low complexity, hospitalization of isolated patients, maternity and pediatric hospitalization, rehabilitation gym, staff area (kitchen and cafeteria, room and storage), classrooms, auditorium and library, administration and management. Meanwhile, on the second floor there will be surgery (four operating rooms), high complexity hospitalization, neonatology (16 positions) and obstetrics (three TPR units for labor and recovery), mothers residence, sterilization, endoscopy, administration area and worship. |
