The first stage of the gas pipeline has a total length of 19 kilometers: it starts at the Separation and Measurement Station located in Garay Park, where it is connected to the main gas pipeline, and from there it travels four kilometers inside the city of Santa Fe with pipes from 12 inches (30.5 centimeters) and a maximum working pressure of 25 bar, up to the Nicasio Oroño viaduct.
From there, the pipe is reduced to ten inches (25.4 centimeters) and begins its route of 5.6 kilometers crossing the Setúbal lagoon and five reliefs of the National Route Nº 168 until its intersection with Provincial Route Nº 1. To cross the pipe by the relievers will be necessary to use the horizontal drilling method remote control by the extension, depth and complexity required by the work in this sector of marshes and streams.
At the entrance to Colastiné, the gas pipeline will start a 9.2 km route, also with a 10-inch pipe, through the interior of the Colastiné and San José del Rincón, to supply two Pressure Regulation Stations located one at each point.
In a second stage, the gas pipeline will extend for 35 kilometers, in parallel to the route of Provincial Route No. 1, to supply 4900 residential users of Arroyo Leyes and 2700 of Santa Rosa de Calchines.
