In the near future, the new technology will meet the growing global demand for protein feeds for animals and fish through the production of the ecoprotein FeedKind by gas fermentation.
By 2025, the world aquaculture market is expected to grow by 25% - FeedKind protein will replace other types of feed without a negative impact on the environment.
What is this technology?
During FeedKind production, bacteria are grown in a fermenter using methane as a source of carbon and energy.
The result is the so-called “unicellular protein”, which is collected and dried before granulation - the process itself resembles the production of simple bread yeast.

It meant whole inanimate dried microbial cells (algae, yeast, bacteria, fungi), intended as a protein product for feed and food purposes.
