In addition, new connections will be made to the network and mini-grids and isolated solar systems will be used.
During 2019, solar panels will also be installed in 10 school centers or educational centers in La Guajira that do not have electricity service and pedagogical kits will be delivered to students, with the support of Fenoge, the IDB and companies in the sector.
The 14 projects represent the possibility of generating around 5,000 temporary jobs, 60 percent corresponding to local labor that would receive training and unskilled labor.
Additionally, the Grand Agreement will be created for a blue and illuminated Guajira, between the Government and the private sector. This agreement will allow the promotion of high impact social investment initiatives for the development of La Guajira, aimed at improving energy coverage, access to water and nutrition in the department. |
