The Energy Government Secretariat of Argentina, which reports to the Ministry of Finance, has published in the official bulletin the National Public Tender 2/2019 for the provision and installation of photovoltaic equipment for 141 rural schools in the provinces of Buenos Aires, Catamarca, Tucumán and Mendoza .
According to the document, the total budget for the tender is approximately $ 7 million. The deadline for submission of offers is June 21, 2019.
The tender will be held within the framework of the Renewable Energy Project in Rural Markets (PERMER). Through the first tender that had been held in 2011, the government of San Juan had allowed the installation of isolated photovoltaic systems for 200 homes.
For the tender that was held in 2018, which had been launched in January , ten companies had submitted proposals for the purchase of low-power home solar integrated systems and rechargeable solar lamps for up to 120,000 rural households in Argentina.
The PERMER program is financed by the World Bank. Each installation planned under the project consists of 2 photovoltaic panels with a total power of 120 Wp, a battery, a control panel and 5 lamps of 18 W.
The implementation of each project is carried out in an articulated manner between the Project Coordination Unit (PCU) of the Energy Secretariat and the provinces, guaranteeing its federal implementation. |
