Sapura Energy secured new contracts in Mexico and Malaysia, valued at approximately US $ 417 million (RM1.75 billion). Among the latest wins are a contract from Hokchi Energy for Sapura Energys wholly-owned subsidiary in Mexico to undertake engineering, procurement, transportation, installation and pre-commissioning and commissioning (EPCIC) at Hokchi Field Development in the Gulf of Mexico. The scope will include the fabrication and installation of a central well platform and a satellite platform that will be connected to Hokchi Paraiso, an onshore processing facility. Sapura Energy also received a contract from ENI México to perform the engineering, transportation, construction, installation and pre-commissioning of the pipeline and land pipeline to the Offshore Block Area 1 in the Gulf of Mexico. In addition, the scope will involve fiber optic cabling and transport and installation of the Mizton wellhead platform at depths of approximately 40 meters. Another significant victory is a five-year agreement to provide Pan Malaysia Underwater Services under the Oil Arrangement Contract (PAC). The contract will be executed by the wholly owned subsidiary of Sapura Energy, Sapura Subsea. The PAC consists of Sarawak Shell and Sabah Shell Petroleum Company; Murphy Sarawak Oil Co. and Murphy Sabah Oil Co.; Repsol Oil & Gas Malaysia; and Kebabangan Petroleum Operating Company. Sapura Subsea will perform underwater services that include the use of its vessels, air dive and saturation and remotely operated vehicles. The scope will also cover inspection, maintenance and repair works to support underwater installations of PACs located on the east coast of Malaysia. |
