On the occasion of the start of the PIFC in Bosnia and Herzegovina, financed by the European Commission from the IPA II component, the Director of the Central Harmonization Unit of the BiH Ministry of Finance and Treasury, Ranko Šakota, talked with a representative of the company that will raliz Project, Project Leader and Experts. The project beneficiaries, worth two million euros and will last for 24 months, are central harmonization units at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republika Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the institutions of the Brcko District. As regards the Central Harmonization Unit of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH, the key requirements of the Project are: a strategic document on the system of internal financial controls in BiH institutions for the period 2019-2024. year updating of subordinate legislation in the areas of financial management and control and internal audit, the development of methodologies for quality control of internal audit and financial management and control, and the development of software application reporting in both areas. The aim is to make real progress with the support of the Project in the system of internal financial controls, Chiara DAloia, a representative of the Belgian company Ice, who was selected as a project implementer, promised that all the requirements, agreed upon in the project assignment, would be realized. Every six months, reports will be submitted on the progress of project implementation, said DAloia. The meeting was attended by Project Leader Ilse Schuster, Experts Mike Leskey and Nihad Nakaš, and Abida Catic, Assistant Director of the Central Harmonization Unit of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH. |
