Akcome Metal provides the photovoltaic rack system for a new 40 MW green energy project in Phan Thiet city, southeast of Vietnam. This is a great success for Akcome Metal in this southeast Asia country with great potential in photovoltaic market. A new 40 MW green energy project started up recently in southeast city of Vietnam, Phan Thiet city. Akcome Metal, being as the supplier of rack system to this project, was invited to participate in the commencement ceremony. The project was developed by the power station development company of powerful JOMO, and was constructed by local Vietnamese EPC. The planned capacity is 40 MW total and would all equipped with double column cement pile steel support rack system which is developed by Akcome. It is reported the finished project will generate around 17 million kWh per year and reduce over 6,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually, which equals to about 14,000 trees planted, and bring great social benefits to Vietnam and the entire Asian region. It is reported that the topographical design of the project is quite complicated, and there were four kinds of arrangements including east-west direction, north-south slope sets. Strict requirements to the rack system design need to meet technical specifications, and require the design team to have rich practical experience, high project accuracy, and high progress control. In fact there are not many photovoltaic projects finished in Vietnam. And Akcome Metal doesn’t have a strong foundation here.
