Institute of IGH dd will conduct investigative works and prepare a project for the repair of concrete and asphalt pavement over the small and large port of the Krk Bridge, followed by a tender for the contractor
ZAGREB IGH dd has signed a contract with the contracting authority of Autocesta Rijeka-Zagreb dd (ARZ) on the services of conducting investigative works and the project for repair of the bridge reconstruction of the Krk Bridge, confirmed yesterday from ARZ. Following the open public procurement procedure, the IGH Institute was selected as the most favorable bidder for the execution of specialist inspection services and the execution of investigative works and the execution of a project for the renovation of concrete and asphalt pavement over the small and large port of the Krk Bridge. The contract value is 335.110 kunas, and the deadline for execution of the service is 120 days from the introduction to the job.
- The implementation of a specialist examination and investigative works was carried out between IGH dd and Autoceste Rijeka-Zagreb dd for the purpose of determining the condition of the construction and condition of the building materials and the design of the asphalt and concrete pavement construction repair project. Includes geodetic measurements, visual inspection, sampling and field testing of asphalt pavement, condition of reinforced-concrete structures and repaired parts. The report on the technical inspection of the bridge and exploration works was also contracted and a project for the renovation of the bridge pavement repair was carried out, explains Sanjin Velebit Pešut, the Head of the Technical Sector Implementation Service and the EU projects in ARZ. The project, he adds, focused on determining the condition of reinforced concrete bridge pavements through specialist examination and exploration work, and then creating a projected solution for remediation as needed. According to the project solution, tender documentation will be created, after which public tenders will be announced for remedial works.
The Armed Bobcat bridge slab of the Krk Bridge has been partially investigated and repaired so far, and this will be the first comprehensive project to examine the state of the board, detailing which rehabilitation interventions need to be carried out. Along with the renewal of the bearing carriageway, a new asphalt layer will be installed, which has so far been replaced by one of the launches of the 1980s bridge.
IGH states that investigative works on building condition and renovation projects are some of the key specialties of the Department of Design Design of the Institute for Design of the Institute IGH. Thirty experts are currently in the section, and with the project of the Krk Bridge are currently engaged in a dozen major contracts for the rehabilitation of infrastructure, energy and public buildings.
