MANAMA, OCT. 17, (BNA) The Ministry of Finance has completed the graduation of more than 50 employees working in the financial and accounting departments and departments in the government apparatus within the first phase of the Public Finance Program, organized by the Ministry in cooperation with the Institute of Public Administration Specialized in educational and training aspects.
Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Information, Ibrahim Mohammed Abel, confirmed that 16 participants had obtained the "Basic Certificate in Public Finance" and 38 participants received the "Professional Certificate in Public Finance", pointing out the main points of the scientific content of the first certificate concerning the policies and procedures of preparing budgets Preparation of reports and financial statements, internal and external government audits, governmental procurement and bidding procedures, and the legislative framework governing the financial and accounting work of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Professional Finance Certificate focuses on ways to optimize the use of government financial resources by adhering to relevant laws and regulations, implementing transparency and accountability principles, financial aspects of government project implementation, and systematic analysis of financial statements to ensure that decision makers are provided with the most efficient database. And accuracy.
He also expressed his pride in the adoption of training programs organized by the Ministry of Finance by international centers specialized in this field.
Assistant Undersecretary for Financial Affairs Mr. Taha Mahmoud Fakihi said that the training aspects in general represent an essential pillar for honing the skills and abilities of the government cadres specialized in financial affairs, noting the outstanding contribution of the public finance program and its practical nature, which provides the participants with an additional source of expertise.
