A total of 800 million crowns will be distributed by the Ministry of Agriculture between municipalities and municipalities that want to build a water supply infrastructure. The subsidy is intended for the construction of water mains, sewers, water treatment plants and water treatment plants or reservoirs. The Ministry of Agriculture will thus contribute to specific municipalities to combat drought. To mitigate the negative impacts of drought and water scarcity is aided by the program of the Ministry of Agriculture, which can be used by municipalities or associations of municipalities. We have prepared subsidies to reduce the consequences of drought. Municipalities can build water, sewage, sewage treatment plants, drinking water treatment plants or reservoirs for them. The money can also be used to make available existing treatment plants and facilities. The state contribution of 55 to 75 percent of the cost is intended to extend the water supply infrastructure and strengthen the accumulation of drinking water to supply the population of the Czech Republic, said Minister of Agriculture Miroslav Toman. The call for applications for support under the program Support for the Construction and Technical Improvement of Water Supply and Sewerage II Infrastructure was announced today, the receipt of applications will begin on 20 September and will run until 15 January 2019. The applicant can raise up to 50 million crowns for his project. The whole program is planned to 2022 with a budget of 4, 8 billion crowns. The call for municipalities to declare support for the construction of their water supply systems was announced by the Ministry of Agriculture for the first time last year. At that time 124 applications were approved. The small municipalities were mainly interested in constructing water supply and sewerage systems.
