Saudi Transport Minister Dr. Nabil Al-Amoudi and Bahrains Minister of Communications and Communications Engineer Kamal Mohammed discussed on Thursday the next steps in the strategic and important King Hamad Bridge project which will link the two countries.
This came during the meeting held in the Bahraini capital (Manama) within the framework of regular meetings held by the committee to follow up the King Hamad Bridge project and link the railway between the two kingdoms.
The scope of tender work for consulting services was discussed in partnership with the private sector, and it was recommended to study the idea of ??taking over the tender by the end of this year. The bid period should not exceed 6 months, and after which the agreement on the appointment of a coalition of consulting firms for the next phase during the first half of the year 2019
included Saudi delegation headed by Minister of transport , both the President of the public transport Authority , Dr. Rumaih Romaih, and Governor of the General Customs Authority chairman of the board of King Fahd Ahmed bridge Foundation Epic.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Bahrain Abdullah Al-Sheikh and a team from the Ministry of Communications and Communications. |
