Svealandstrafiken AB (formerly AB Västerås Lokaltrafik) carries out scheduled public transport by bus in Västmanland. We do this on our own or through one of the subcontractors we have a framework agreement with. Svealandstrafiken AB is currently represented in Västerås, Fagersta, Köping and Sala. From 1 January 2018, the company is jointly owned by Region Västmanland and Örebro County.
In future, the companys seat will be in Västerås, however, the company will have significant operations in both counties with a focus on Västerås and Örebro. From autumn 2019, Svealandstrafiken AB will operate the city traffic in Örebro as well as regional traffic based on the bus depots in Örebro and Odensbacken.
Svealandstrafiken AB is looking for Providers!
Svealandstrafiken AB is in an expansive development phase and needs to expand its procurement function. The work consists of working with operational procurement work with the main focus within the vehicle engineering department, but as Svealandstrafiks procurement area is wide, there is the possibility of variation. You are expected to independently plan, implement and evaluate commodity and service contracts. You will work in the entire purchasing chain ie. conduct market research and compile inquiries, and be responsible for managing and monitoring agreements in close collaboration with the business. The work will include trips mainly between Örebro and Västerås.
qualifications
Higher education in relevant areas (law, economics, engineering) or 2-year postgraduate education with a focus on procurement. Alternatively, you have equivalent education and experience that we consider equivalent.
At least one year of experience in working with strategic purchasing or procurement. We would like to see you have experience from public activities.
Knowledge of the regulations regarding public procurement and, most importantly, the Act on Public Procurement in the Supply Sector (LUF)
Very good computer skills in MS Office packages
Technical interest all. knowledge

Experience of TendSign or other procurement tools
Experience from purchasing in the automotive industry

Terms of Employment & Application
The service is a permanent employment contract with a six-month probationary appointment. We apply monthly salary with individual payroll. Access by agreement. Location is primarily Örebro. Enter reference: Agreement and Procurement.
