The procurement conference is now being given for the third time and it is really fun to see what the demand is. We have barely received the notification tool and already a lot of notifications are coming in. It is our proof that the content of the procurement conference really keeps the high level we want, both regarding content and speakers and moderators. Its a great fun puzzle to first put up 15 high-end topics in public procurement and then build the various seminars with professional moderators and well-prepared and well-skilled experts as speakers around these topics. The purpose of the procurement conference is to convey news and information about the rules on public procurement and to explain how the rules are applied in practice.
I have been to many conferences over the years and simply put together a conference that I would like to go on. It means no advertising, no sponsors, no exhibitors but lots of time for mingling and contact creation. In order to avoid stress and networking, all seminars will end with either coffee breaks, lunch or at the end of the day.
This year we will again have dinner with entertainment, as before with a clear student choirs focus. Who does not want to go back to the student time sometimes and at the procurement conference, we like the nostalgic thing about just the party dinner.
We record all seminars so that participants can take part in all seminars at home on the couch in peace after the conference has ended. The video films are also used in the teaching at Juridicum at Stockholm University.
