Uppsala University is a broad research university with a strong international position. The department consists of four units. The procurement and purchasing unit is one of these and has 21 employees. We now need reinforcement and seek a procurer. Tasks You are responsible for planning and conducting procurements, mainly of research equipment and framework agreements. This is based on strategies, guidelines, goals, assignments and current legislation. You co-operate in your role, even with the devices other roles, such as, for example, the buyer and the contract controller. In this role you are also responsible for project management of reference groups; you also have the main responsibility for monitoring the contracts you have contracted. Here too you cooperate with other roles on the unit. Qualification Requirements We seek you who have a college degree in economics, law, technology or other equivalent skills that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience in independently conducting procurement under the LOU, both framework agreements and individual items. Good ability to design a foundation in both Swedish and English is required, as university is largely engaged in cross-border trade. Personal qualities In your role as a procurer, you work independently, but also part of a larger team where good teamwork and ability to tie contacts are crucial to success. You will enjoy working on multiple parallel projects, driven by working commercially and appealed by the opportunity to make a difference. Furthermore, you have good analytical ability, are determined and trustworthy. Your social skills as well as communicative skills will help you in your work and you are responsive to the needs of the business. You also have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English. The work involves many contacts and great importance will therefore be added to personal qualities.
